“My mummy and me” Mother’s Day special 2012 | Central Coast Photographer

When was the last time you had a decent family photo taken with YOU in them? If you’re anything like me you’re always behind the camera and have thousands of photos of your kids, but very few meaningful photos that show the relationship that you have with your loved ones. These are the images that will one day be treasured memories, not just of how we looked back then, but how we felt at the time. With Mother’s Day coming up, why not treat yourself to a custom photography session? A session with heart, that captures the connection you have with your loved ones and some “mummy moments” that your children can look back on fondly for years to come.

Don’t worry, I suffer from the same affliction as any mum out there, worrying about those unwanted kilos and how we’ll look in the photos, but you know what, in 5 years time we will all be thinking how HOT we looked 5 years ago! Besides, our kids won’t want to see only photos of them as children, but also images with the people that mean the most to them.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, I am currently offering an additional $100 print credit when any Digital Collection (package of products and digital files) is purchased, which can be used for additional prints, upgrading sizes, or additional album pages. This offer is valid for any session booked in the months of April and May 2012. Gift vouchers are also available, and this offer is also valid for gift vouchers purchased during this period (you can redeem your additional print credit on purchase of your digital collection).

“It’s the little things in life that are priceless and this is truly one. We are so privileged that we were able to have you capture us, in love and happiness with each other” Tracey.

My “photo nearly every day” project 2012 | Family photographer Central Coast

Feeling very inspired by so many awesome photographer’s “photo-a-day” projects this year, I thought I’d give it a whirl myself, but quickly found out I’m really not disciplined enough to pull something like that off! Instead, I’ve been plodding along with my “photo-nearly-every-day” project, trying to capture those everyday moments that would otherwise be so easily forgotten. I’ve actually quite fallen in love with capturing the kids in such a natural and honest way, and better still, I only need to edit one photo at time! So here are the shots so far!

To say I’m excited right now is an understatement! Doing a little happy dance about my first full feature on Polka Dot Bride, and that it’s my grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary shoot is icing on the cake! You can see the full feature here, including the story of how they met!
